So there's no interest in a running Jackpiner on this list?  Where do Poggers go(other than "e"-bay) to purchase their Pentons these days if not here?  I mean, there were only so many produced and so few still exist.

SouthRider

Thats actually a very clean, good looking bike.

It is getting close to the Holidays, and the economy is slumping in many places. Plus you just posted this a few days ago, and a significant percentage of the membership was in Tulsa at the ISDT reunion ride, and just now getting back to work & life after several days away.

Personally I would love to have a lay down shock Jackpiner in my stable - as that is what my first Penton was.

Right now I just don't have a place for another bike.

Hang in there - this will work for someone.

You might post a price and that could spark some interest.  Lots of people just won't ask.

Yes, it is the same.  I'm asking $1000.00 which I believe is a fair price.  Ron....I think we may have a common friend in Alan Johncock at the Lone Star M-C museum.  I'm a lifetime member and thought I saw your name on the lsit as well.

True, Allen and I good Friends and I just visited with him on Monday along with one of the POG Founders Doug Wilford.  Price seems very fair and you may do as I have done if no one is interested here put it on Criag's List or ebay.  If I can be of anny help just PM me via this web site.

Hi Larry,  I put a couple of pentons on Craigs list recently and got no calls.:(  I dont think the economies supporting alot of fun money right now  for many people. Quite a few of us have been riding, racing and collecting Pentons since the seventies, and already have a couple dozen or so.. or err.. at least in pails and pieces anyway ;)
