Thomas,  Wendell is doing fine under the circumstances.   He is off prescription pain medication and is getting by with Advil.  He should have had surgery last week but when he consulted with two different orthopedic medical groups, they both declined due to the complexity/severity of the "fix."  He will see an orthopedic trauma surgeon Wednesday and hopefully get corrective operation pronto.  Thanks for your concern.
