Any interest in a campaign to hold the 2013 ISDT-RR in Dalton, MA to mark the 40th Anniversary of the 1973 ISDT? The 2003 was there and it was a blast.....Seems only logical to hold 2013 there too.

Teddy Landers....Jeff Debell....anyone else with "pull"..is it too early to start planning?

I don't know that I have much "pull", but it's never to early to start planting the seed, eh?  The biggest hurdle will be finding a club to pull it off.  Any Pathfinders M/C members on line here that would know if the club wants to tackle it again?

I would love it - what memories from the 1971 Two Day International Trials I rode there. The Reunion Ride committee makes these decisions and yes it is not too early to be thinking about it.

Hello All!

Hope you folks are doing well!

Just letting you know my club received Jeff Debell's email about the 2013 reunion ride possibly being in Massachusetts. I can't promise anything as of yet, but alot of my club members are interested in doing it again. We do have a major stumbling block and it's Savoy State Forest. It's been closed to ORV's as of a few years ago.If we go to a forest further south, the trails are a bit more used and tougher for the vintage bikes.

I'll try to stay in touch but a 40th Anniversary of the US ISDT ride maybe a possibility.

Hi Steve (Erickson),
This fall's Reunion Ride in southern Ohio is still a long haul from New England, but lots closer than Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, etc., and would be a great opportunity for a bunch of you guys to dust off your vintage iron and car/truck/van pool to the Reunion.  We're hoping to scare some of the northeast's Six Days vets out of the woods, too. Hope to see you there.
Glad to hear your club is still interested in another Reunion.  I know the land situation is tough up your way, lots of state agencies to deal with, etc.  Not like the good old days!  With luck, maybe you can pull it off again.  I sure hope so!

Steve,

I think this is a stellar idea.  Greg Holder and I discussed just this will hiding out in my cargo trailer debating whether or not to build an Ark as Robert Cross pulled racers' trailers from the parking area at our Carolinas White Lightning Cross Country Classic.

A 40th anniversary event in 2013 would give me just about enough time to raise the money for such a trip, after I get back from this year's ISDTRR in Ohio.

To whom it may concern, whomever makes these decisions, Al "Lumberjack" Roof vote "YES" for the Berkshires in 2013!

Happy trails,

Al Roof

Boy, oh boy!  My wish is almost a reality.  I had a great time in 03, even if I was soaking and half frozen Sat. AM.  Teddy, I'll try to ride a legal motorcycle this time-now that AHRMA is running the tech. ;)  Oh boy, oh boy.
