Guys we laid out the 90-95% of the trail for the September 19-20th ISDT AHRMA 2 day race in Westpoint Tennessee this weekend.

It will be 40+ miles on Day 1 including 3 woods terrain tests and 1 lap mx grass track test.

Day 2 will be 2 woods terrain tests and the final 5 lap grass track mx race.

Please bring pit crews as there will be a map to spectator points that you pit crew can drive to and see you in the test sections and on the trail.Every test section will have access to spectators.

We have laid out the terrain tests that will include every type of riding that all different riding styles will like including pine trees, single track 2 track and some logging road sections.Sorry we do not have any sand.

Everyone is invited to come early and I will lead a trail ride on Friday and if you want I can lead a trail ride on Thursday also.

Please let me know of any questions you might have and we are looking on having a good turnout.

Don't forget the free Chicken Stew on Saturday afternoon.

Also Shoals Outdoor Sports will have some new KTM's on display at the camp and have supplied their enclosed race trailer for the sign up.

This area is located 25 miles from Florence,Alabama and 17 miles from Lawrenceburg,Tennessee. There is lots of things to do in the area so make your plans to attend it will be a fun weekend. We are trying to make it the best qualifier that AHRMA has had and a fun enjoyable weekend for the whole family.

How about another 20 miles for Day 1 and have 40 for day 2 ?
I can't wait to ride there on my vintage bike.

Hey BoJo..
I talked with you last week at the auction regarding this event. I am pumped and can't wait. I have a question, will your son be riding the trail ride with you on Friday and can my grandson ride on that day?
We look forward to making this a great weekend.

Thanks,
Jerry

Tennessee Vol

Jerry,
Glad you are comming.Bring your modern bike for the trail ride.I am glad your grandson is comming but I think the trail ride might be a little to much for him,my son is not riding but he will be down there.Tell him to bring his bicycle.

We will be getting to the trail ride on some plubic roads etc, because we will be avoiding all the trail laid out for the race.It is hard to explain the way the property is laid out.

This is going to be a good race.Dwight Rudder knows as much about the property as anyone in POG.Maybe he will chime in.

Also you will have no problems at all getting your motor home in the camp area.

Brian,
I hope we get some leading up to the race.It is the type of place it can rain bad in morning and in the afternoon it will be dusty dry.Your little Berkie is going to like it.

Ernie,
Looks like there was no DUST!!;) How did Team Flying Squirrel make out? Were you able to bump out Rudder's Hodaka Team from 1st? Waiting for report later.

Nope, Kid Christopher DNF'd Sunday so the Squirrels are out of the team competition. Ernie and I both finished and I won my class and the Sunday Vintage overall award which was an iron ore rock mounted on a wood plaque. Team White Lightning is still crushing the competition in the team standings with three class wins. Barring some kind of problem they look untouchable. Dwight and I had a good battle in the 5 (it was actually 10) lap grass track until he locked it up and stalled.

I'll have a full report and pictures and video up soon.

The Squirrels are NOT out. Christopher's DNF cost the team 3600 points and they are in fifth place in the ISDT Six Day Series for 2009. Christopher is out of the ISDT Six Day Series for 2009 medal contention, but not the team.
