Penton Talk / boot or no boot
February 26, 2008, 01:10:09 PM
I bought a 69 and a 70 125 both new. One came with the spring on the throttle end. I think it was the 70 with the spring.

Diggin thru a box of old enduro results and magazine articiles.  Found five pages titiled "Instructions-Penton 125 & 100cc". Probably from 1968/1969- it came with my first Penton. If anyone needs a copy, send me a mailing address.

Penton Talk / 1970 Winners List
February 24, 2003, 06:39:57 PM
Any of you old timers remember that full page ad that was in several of the bike magazines titled "Congratulations to Penton Winners in 1970" ?  Has a list of about 200 names superimposed on a picture of someone on a Six Days.  Looks good in a frame hanging on your garage wall and you see names of guys you rode against and haven't thought of in years.  If you want a Xerox copy, e-mail me your postal address and I will mail you one.
