Yes Yes i was. that old penton just couldnt do that half mile straight away as fast as my 200. hahahha.. i about died at that race.
I dont know if dad is going to or not, hes been talking about riding an old one but just never has. He already rides an old one, is a 94 KTM300exc with stock piston not old enught for you? hahahahha! take it easy Gary.

Gary, you know more about me then I do.. hahaha.. I am 20, well saturday. My name is Dustin. Yes I live in southern Il. I am going to college to be a machinest and will be done with that in may. I then plan on opening a shop of my own. i have been riding sence i was 3. I have an 02 KTM 200 and love the thing to death. well thats about all about me.

The old man told me that he used to be a Penton Dealer back in the day. He was telling me that back then you really didnt know what you were going to find when opening up a Penton crate.Bike colors, accessories, frames, etc. were different. And that rarely that two were excatly alike. And as far as the light, reliable sources say that it is authenic and built by John Penton himself.

well the old man finaly told me that this tail light was made by Mr. Penton himself. it did come off of one of the first 10. which didnt come with tail lights so Mr. Penton made them himself. so ive been told.

What is there to tell you guys about me that you dont already know. if you did google my name then i guess u all know who i am and everything so what is the need of it now?
I am just someone that is trying to learn and see if anyone knows what these parts and pieces are. i am not here to play games like you all have been saying. i am just here to learn.

How is the progress on thoes bikes coming along?

sorry for the delay. been busy with Class and havent been on. This is a Original Penton allen wrench to hold the back side of the fasteners on the clutch while making adjustments. Mike was right. Take it easy everyone.

Why this is such a mystrey and y its so interesting is because it seams like only a hand full of people even have a remote idea what this is, and who actually made the thing. This tail light might just be the only one left.

I will have to go talk to the old man to see if he will tell me what number it was off of, and maybe i can get him to tell me who made it! ill try to get that from him today and get back on here and let cha all know!! take it easy la8er!

Gary is right, the old man said that its off of one of the first penton steeltankers. its not off a tractor, trailer or anything of that kind.
now if he will only tell me who made it?

ill have to go tell him what i found.. Im just glad to know that he wasnt B-S'in me. Thanks alot.
