Its definitely not a 74 pipe, comparable to one on my 74. T

I guess with that being said, does anyone have a 77 pipe they want to part with?

The other question is, does anyone know if the 400 head bolts are the same as the 250?

My engine builder is recommending I stay with the Motoplat and not use the PVL. Planning on just hare scramble racing the bike, no lights.

Penton Talk / VMD 2018 WRAPUP
July 11, 2018, 07:44:31 AM
Bob "Dirt" Gilman introduced me to Penton's and VMD over 10 years ago. On top of which, gave me the bike I race to this day.
I would have never met such a nice group like POG, without Bob.
You guys an gals are some of the best!

See you next time!

Well, looking at the manual, I have the right rod, but I am wondering if maybe I have the wrong clutch package.

This style actuator has the one rod and no ball bearing. Well, at least I believe it's not supposed to have a bearing.
Cable is brand new, and free from obstructions.
Cluthc lever is a Magura.
How do I determine how times to turn the clutch basket nuts?

Thanks guys! I am stll new to all of the Penton world, but a great friend, Bob Gilman, has got me so addicted to these bikes now, it's like a disease! Hope to see everyone back at VMD in Ohio!

Penton Talk / 74' KTM 250cc clutch

The bearing cage side, I have assembled correctly, its the clutch side that has me confused. THe manual does not show a single ball bearing between the rod end and the clutch plate, but there was one in there, upon disassembly. It looks like it would mak sense to have one there, but I think it is making the distance too long.
