A 1975 250 Penton with a 1974 engine. This bike has not been riden in 4 years but was in great shape and condition at that time.  Has been stored since and has an approximate value of $2000.

1968 Penton with a Sachs 5 speed, 125 engine which was completely rebuilt by Doug Williford, never been started, inside of a powder coated frame, everything included, worth approximately $2800

Refurbished Penton steel tank signed by John Penton, $750

All reasonable offers considered, please call me at 864-905-3180, Pictures in the link:

I got a call today from a very close friend of Thomas's,  Greg Holder who has high familiarity with all of his bikes and they actually used to work on them together.  He was able to give me a good bit of info on the bikes although he is guessing at the ages and values but feels that he's pretty close.  None of this info is absolute because he is trying to remember the best that he can.  Following this list is a link to look at pictures.  Call me, 864-905-3180 or email me, [email protected] if you have any questions.

1.  200XR Honda - The guess is that it is around a 2000 model.  I will check to see if I can find the age between the fork tubes.  Greg said that this bike is a hot rod and has some high tech equipment on it like Owing shocks(?).  He said that the bike is worth $1500.

2.  A 1975 250 Penton with a 1974 engine.  This bike is worth $2000.

3.  1968 125 Steel tanker Penton, Engine has been completely redone.  Sachs 5 speed.  This bike is worth $2800.

4.  2000 200 KTM.  Great condition.  This bike is worth $1500.

5.  Powder coated Penton frame - $250

6.  Refurbished Penton steel tank - $600

Hi!  I am Thomas Carmichael's widow, Clinta.  Many of you may still remember Thomas and may have been one of his dear Penton friends!    I have recently sold my home and I am downsizing.  My children and I are unable to continue to store Thomas's bikes and equipment so I've decided to sell them.  Unfortunately, I know almost nothing about the bikes, including their age.  I know that Thomas did a lot of work to them, he rode them up until he was diagnosed with brain cancer and they've not been riden in 4 years now.  He also had a frame powder coated(?) because he had planned to rebuild another bike.  I need to sell the bikes and equipment and don't know what to ask for them so I have decided to sell to the highest bidder.  I am happy to provide pictures of the bikes to you and to the extent that I can, I will answer your questions.  Please feel free to call me at 864-905-3180 or email me at [email protected].  Thanks for your help!
