Piston is 92.25. I just had a ball hone run through the jug last Fall. It will be next week before I can get some pictures. I also have some heads, and a 420 piston or two, large Lectron carbs 38's and 40's. I need to get this stuff out of my way. I though I would give you guys a chance at it before I put it on eBay. I just had one I picked late last year that had the same problem. I used every penetrating oil I could thing of. Soaking it down everday for a couple of weeks without much luck. I finaly took it to a motorcycle machine shop "Motorcycle Specalist" just around the corner from the house. They gave up after 15 min., but the owner came over and took a hard piece of nylon and drove the slide off the metering rod holder. Then took a pair of needle nose vise grips and turned the metering rod. The metering rod fell out after that.
 (Plaese do not use a screwdriver to pry the slide free. The previous owner did on mine and it gouged the face of the slide and the body of the carb as well as a large chunk is gone from the base of the slide.) You realy do not want to go there.  
 More than likely your carb still had gas in it when it was stored just like the one I have and the gas dried in the metering rod tube and now the metering rod it is now frozen in the tube. I would completely submerge the carb body in WD40 or PB laster or Kroil for a week or so. Tapping on the metering rod tube ever with a screwdriver handle a few times a day.

Thanks Mike, Yes it could have been a 1977. I
though the guy said 75, but that was almost 15 years ago. I had a picture of it until last year when my 4 year old found it and used it in some of his art. It was orange with black letters. Is their anything you can tell me about 10 year aniversary edition.

Come on; someone must know something! It was a 74 or 75 I think. Orange in color and the gas cap had something inscribed about 250 ISDT Champ,and the hardest seat I think I have ever sat on. That was in 1987 and I have not seen one since or can find anything on the bike. I just wanted to know more about it. Thanks Joe

I contacted Marzocchi USA, and was informed that they could order many if not all of the parts for vintage motorcycle shocks from the factory. I was told to contact Shawn.

I see in an earlier post talk about shocks #'s -2,-4 , but I have a set of -1 ,and -3 can you tell me anything about them?
