Hi Kip, sorry I missed you, spent most of my time in the MX pits and Trials sections.  Also had a great time this year, see you in 2024!

Hi James, we will be making an East Coast trip sometime in March. Heading down into Florida first then up along the Eastern Seaboard towards New Jersey. After that we will be heading back West to Indianapolis. Sounds like Cleveland could be along the Route. If you can wait that long maybe we can help. Thanks,

Al, I'm sorry for your loss, and sorry I can't be at VMD to personally offer my condolences.  I'll miss you and Rosemary at the Lebanon Swap Meet, and everywhere we have always met.  You and your's are in my family prayers,

I haven't raced CC at Mid Ohio in years.....not as much fun as when they started doing it because the course isn't that great AND there's too many riders in the those woods.  The MX track is a more fun ride, and I'm thinking of trying the trials event this year.

I've got a 34 on my 250 now and it's a little small so i'm fitting a 36 also.  after jetting and fitting i'll add to this post.

The race came and went without a hitch, great weather and course layout by Jeff Fredette!  Mike Miller from Grand Rapids won the vintage event on a PE250 with 19 dropped points, I dropped 32 for 2nd, and Derek Martin took 3rd.  

The harescrambler ran OK, but i'm convinced i need a bigger carb and am building a 36mm Mikuni for it.  The biggest challenge will be the airbox-to-inlet connection.  It ran great on the top end, but pinged on the bottom from being too lean and would blubber a bit in the mid range.

Next event is in Northwest Michigan at Kingsley.
