James,
I believe it's from a '82 KTM. Like the same style reproduction kick levers ALB has.

I'm a little late to this, what kind of tank is that? It that a '77 GS6 tank or an aftermarket tank? I'm looking for a larger thank for the '77 MC5 400.

Brian - what's your e-address? I have a large enduro tank off an MC-400 sitting on a shelf, never have used it, will make you a deal on it.

I'll get back to you after this weekend. I have only done one CC race on this 400 and it was 45min long. I had gas left, but I am not sure I could make it another 15 min on what was left. I'm going to ride tomorrow for an hour and see if I run out of gas. If I need a tank I'll get in touch.

Brian, It's not an aftermarket, it's OE Penton. GS6 ? - I think not ?
You could use one like "Davie" has.

There use to be plenty of those around, and cheap.
ALB had some at one time. ?
