I see it as very much like the IRL/CART car fiasco. Bad blood between the two results in competing series in a market that can barely support one series, much less two. Just like the car deal, there are two sides to the story and both sides thinks they are right.

i would be glad to be that liason, especially since i live in ohio and could contact personally the powers that be at ama. however, i don't think that will be an option. the ama/the individual promotors were well aware of our schedule prior to dates they chose. this current watering down of attendance is the end result. remember, they didn't even a have series prior to this year to discuss. also, the series that ama has is a seperate entity from vmd.  points are paid out until the race prior to that and then mid-ohio is all by itself.      chicago jerry

I admit I am not a fan of the AMA, and have not been for a long time before the AMA/AHRMA feud, but I doubt the AMA has any interest in working with AHRMA, at any level.

The AMA threw AHRMA under the bus several years ago. I won't be supporting any AMA Vintage events because of that.

Lew,

How do you know that the AMA is not concerned about AHRMA? Could AHRMA not be concerned about the AMA?

This is exactly what I am talking about! Who ever is at fault is the problem but we will never know.....Either way it needs to stop before it's to late.

Thank you,

If you think AHRMA deserved any of what that Arse lawyer did to AHRMA then I think you better go back and research what that liar did to AHRMA and that AMA caved to his wishes so they wouldn't get attacked by him. Even Judges threw out his suit and he just refilled. He was able to do so just because he was the lawyer. They caught him cheating several times and threw him out of AHRMA. I support NEPG not the AMA. Not since the current administration took over. The AMA's vintage series is a joke.

Dwight, How do you know that AHRMA didn't deserve getting thrown under the bus? The bottom line is we need to support both organizations in some way or we will loose them all together at some point in time.

I'm not sure how you can support the AMA National Enduro Series and not support the AMA Vintage Series? That's just my opinion!

Mike,
Does anybody expect turnout on Mothers Day?  Is that really when it was or is that just what they called it?  Cheers.

Perfect answer Brian!

Both organisations need a person that will communicate with each other when setting dates and then the problem should go away.....

We are having problems here in Ohio with many clubs getting away from the AMA and starting other series events and all the old AMA/District clubs that are still hanging in there are getting very poor turn outs...

Example: HVMC in Logan,Ohio(AMA Chartered 40 years)had a H.S. "Mothers Day" weekend and they had a total of 49 riders! Then there was a WEXCR (non-AMA)series event less than a hour away from the HVMC event and there were over 260 riders!

What can we do to help not let this happen again between AMA & AHRMA?
