Just got my tickets Fedex yesterday afternoon. In the info they sent, they suggest using State Route 314, coming in from the west, as construction on I-71 may cause delays as you approach Mansfield/Lexington.
Also, as a perk for purchasing tickets in advance, you are entitled and encouraged to utilize the Advance Purchase entry lane at gate #1. You are also welcome to use the North gate #6, which is an advance ticket purchase gate only. No tickets are sold at gate #6, so all persons must have purchased a ticket in advance to use this gate.

Go to the Mids, with a glass not .5 empty, but with a glass .5 full....

There's plenty of shade/camping nearest the showers.  The showers are adjacent to the swapmeet area, and real near the Mid-Ohio race track.  The vintage MX track is about a quarter mile from the showers, and that's where Dwight Rudder and his infamous entourage hang out.  You'll have to bring your own shade if you camp near the vintage MX track but the company and camaraderie is excellent!

I'm going to see if I can't find an air conditioned room in town, sell a couple of Hodaka's, help a friend sell some BMW parts, and slobber all over the Penton's.  Who knows, if my Hodaka's sell I might just buy one of the PRISTINE Penton's I hope will be for sale.
Sell two, buy one.  I think I can justify that to my new wife.

Buddy, I'd like to meet you so check for me around Paul Stannard's Strictly Hodaka tent, OK?

Can anybody camp over by the showers?  I was told last year that was a restricted area.

Rocket,

I'm unsure.  In 2002 I camped with a friend who had a space assigned to his motorhome in the trees about 100 yds. from the showers.  In 2003 I stayed at a motel and didn't camp.  A call to http://www.midohio.com would answer this question.
