Hi All,
For Sale: 1979 KTM 125 MC80 Serial # 902 04365 engine # 9 5109639. Bike is located in Tulsa, OK. I plan to take it to VMD at Mid Ohio but can drop it off along the I-44 or I-70 corridor enroute to Mid Ohio if needed. Would really like to sell this one so I'm dropping the price again. Asking $600 but will consider all offers or possible trades for Pentons of equal value. Bike needs some work but overall is in pretty decent shape. Has Progressive rear shocks and a 34mm Mikuni carb. Gas tank, fenders, handlebars, forks, exhaust and wheels are in nice shape. Looks to be original paint on the frame with very little rubbed off in area of footpegs so probably hasn't been ridden alot. So much for the good stuff now here's the downside. Engine starts and sounds okay but transmission will not shift either up or down and seems to be stuck in neutral. Seat pan is cracked at left rear and is missing the tie-down bracket in that area. Needs new carb-to-intake rubber boot, airbox-to-carb rubber boot as well as some new grips. Other parts that I know are missing as follows: exhaust silencer end cap, rubber exhaust pipe mounts, side number plates, front number plate, air filter element and cage, front wheel rimlock and shift lever. Getting hard to find these small bore dual shock KTM's so don't miss out on one thats worth bringing back to life. I've tried to describe it as best I can but will be glad to answer any questions. Picture links added below and can send the pics if you can't view them. I also plan to take and sell a nice race ready Can Am 125 MX6 at VMD. Can send info to anyone interested. Picture links added below and can send the pics if you can't view them from the links. Thanks !!
