I have not seen any DC Platics items that have been painted.  I would assume it is possible, if you call Dave I am fairly confident he can give you accurate information on painting his products.

I would like to go back to Mike's original question.

Has anyone seen how close the yellow 72-75 DC Plastics sidepanels compare to the 73 250 color?

  I saw some panels for sale on ebay that looked close, but I want to be sure they are the true '73 250 color.  Oh well, if no one can answer this I will just have one painted.  Thanks for everyone's great input.

Don told me that you can just wet sand the matte and it will gloss out of control.  Call Don and he can explain more.
