Hi all,
I've been planning for months to make the trip for this meeting but for the second straight year won't be coming. Last year the weather kept me home but this time it's something a little more important. My daughter is a senior this year and has a college campus visit scheduled for Saturday and so that takes priority. Guess I'll see most of you guys at Mid Ohio this summer or possibly at the AHRMA CC race in Stillwater, OK but not sure I'll be healed enough to ride that one yet either. Have a safe trip to all and have great time at the meeting.

Kip,

No sure what hotel you mean, but this link should help everyone who might be looking for a room close by.

The Country Inn & Suites has been taken over by Holiday Inn Express and they will give us rooms at $ 89.99 + tax, according to Ashley, mention the AMA for that rate. They are located at 2806 Taylor Road Reynoldsburg, OH 43068 614) 861-8888 (800) 456-4000

The Marriott Fairfield Inn & Suites 2826 Taylor Road Reynoldsburg, OH 43068 (614) 864-4555 is adjacent to the one listed above, I was just provided with a price of $ 89.00 + tax by Penny for our group.

Be sure to mention when you sign in or call that you are with the motorcycle group attending the Motorcycle Hall of Fame / AMA function this weekend.  There are lots of motels in the area and a great range of prices and services available.

The forecast at this time is for sunny weather from Thursday through Sunday in Pickerington, Ohio  with the high around 37 on Saturday.

I just spoke with Jack, he said Tom is arriving on Thursday and he is hopeful that his younger brother Tim is going to also be in attendance.

Thanks,
Paul

We are still under a travel advisory with 2" of snow and ice coming in early tonight.  Will see tomorrow morning how the roads are, don't want to do like last year.:(

For those of you looking for something else to do while in Columbus, there is an indoor Arenacross on Saturday night at the Columbus fairgrounds.

This is not part of the AMA National Arenacross series.
They usually leave some doors open in the building for ventilation, so bring warm clothing.

We set things up at the Museum today, the roads are all clear and it has been a nice sunny day in Pickerington.

Thanks go out to Ollie and Al Martin along with Ric Stewart for helping to get everything "Pentonized " at the Museum... Paul Clipper is here and he also helped us out. Ted and Connie are also here.
