Ron, The information was posted yesterday by Reese and I have copied it here. If you wish to speak to him directly I can help with that, I have his cell number. It is best to call him later in the day or evening. The reason is because he is kept pretty busy with therapy, at least that is what I was told.

I've never met Dale but this could be any one of us. My thoughts and prayers are with Dale and his family.

I'll be more than happy to help out.

Thom,
I will get a donation in the mail asap.  Thanks and as Rod put it best " but this could be any one of us".  I know for a fact that Dale was a really good technical rider and I hate to see this happen, but he will be equally tough in fighting back.

I know what you mean, I fell the same day and I am still trying to recover.. Sleep is hard because I hurt most of the time, I realized that any thing could have gone a little different and my fate would have been the same, not that I am better or more deserving of anything...Like my Dad told me last year while he was in the hospital, "I use to think I was made out of the finest steel but now I realize that I am only made out of balso wood..." By the way Dad is 86 and still lives in his own home.

Thom,I don't know Dale, but i'm sure he's a great guy (as with most all Penton riders).I'll try and find a get well card with a little levity to include with my check tomorrow.I know when i'm laid up laughter may not always be the best medicine, but it sure helps cheer me up(even when it hurts to laugh!).

I spoke with Dale today, he is doing pretty well but the Rehab has yet to make a difference. He seemed excited to hear from me. He has yet to get his Lap Top working at the Hospital yet but is looking forward to having it. I have decided to copy your comments from here and bring them to him when I go tomorrow to see him. He can be reached at.

Thanks to everyone for being so generous. I am sure that it means alot to him...
