1970 ISDT Spain

Anyone have history on 1970 ISDT Spain. One of the team bikes, not Penton, may have been located.
Any help would be appreciated.

showing 2 US riders, but I think there is no Penton on the photo. One of the bikes has the pipe on the left side (#143) and the other (#190) is no Penton too.
#167 seems to be a Jawa, so it could be the 250 class.
John rode a Husqvarna - does anybody know his race #?

I believe that the rider #155 is Lars Larson and he is riding a CMF KTM machine.

Nice memories seeing all the great riders names.  I have the headlight off Mike Lewis' 6 Day Bike he raced in Spain.  Neat piece of history.

Could be a prototype of the CMF KTM - but the rider wears a Swedish helmet (blue/yellow cross) and Lars is mentioned as an American rider on Jeff's list above....

Technically the "CMF" frame bikes, was manufactured much earlier than production version in 1971. In early 1967, KTM sent one of the prototypes to the Penton family to show how good KTM could manufacture racing machines. And that bike, beat up everything out there in racing. That was what got Uncle John interested in having KTM build the Penton motorcycles.
