I'll be at the Nov. 22nd race too with my 6-Day and SL70.  This will be the 1st real ride for my 6-day in 25 + years. I figure I can drive around and have some fun. I've done some test rides around the Barstow house, but I'm trying to save it for Competitive edge.

Hi Guys,Wow,thanks for the generous offers,but i think my bikes will be done in time,except for a 100 class bike(time is getting tight on getting a berkshire done but i'm gonna try).I didn't mean to sound like i had no bike to ride,just don't know which ones i'm bringing and if i'll have room for the sl70.I'd love to take a lap or 2 on one of the green SL 100's though.I was sponsored on one from late 70 to 72 and have great memories from it(ands stories/accusations of overbores,protests,etc.It was std. bore with the normal mods.+ tricks but ran good,still it was slower than most bikes in 100 Ex. class,but i still got protested a lot(never lost one),and won my share with it anyway-i think it being slower made me faster).Rode the first 4 stroke Nats. at Carlsbad on one too.Someday i'll build another SL.The 100 class was so much fun.  
Pablito-Elsinore sounds like mucho fun and thanks for offering a ride,but i'm going to hit ACP nov.7+8.
Mike-I'll be looking for you at ACP,hope to meet you there!The Raptor is an F150 set up for the Dez.Mine is blue with cobalt graphics(not sure the graphics will stay on i have mixed opinion on there looks).
Lloyld-Thanks for the offer on the MC5 but i'll be riding my 75 250 and 72 Mettco 6 days and a smaller bike as well if all goes well.Hope to see you at Competitive Edge and thanks again.

Oh yeah-Does the 100 class run with the 125's?That will factor in which bikes i bring to cal. races.

They have a XR75 race at the end of the day.  I've never seen it, but, there is a lot of little bikes there.  Everybody says its a hoot. Nothing serious.

Thanks for the well wishes and I hope to be there, at least to watch.  Yes they run the 100's and 125's together....so last ride on my Berkshire I had to start the second gate so as to collect my points in the 125 cc.

Anyway it is always fun with the ARX group.  Everybody wins something.

Yiiikes! Not unless i eat nothing but slimfast and 5 hour energy for the next month[xx(].They are still waiting in my closet for my return to fighting weight.Actually they can fit but a bit too tight for comfort.Later,Ric

Mike,No ACP for me.Starting having some breathing problems yesterday(after mowing my lawns-probably too much pollen intake!).Feel a little better today but not great-tired/no energy.Good luck and hope to still see you guys at Comp.Edge Nov.22nd.

Looks like I'll only bringing the 6-day. Not enough room on my trailer for my SL 70. I know, I know, How small is that trailer.  Small!

I was set to go to speedworld (phoenix) avdra race sunday,then realized there was a nascar race and a cardinals football game going on.Not wanting to spend the better part of the day/nite in traffic i passed on that race.I'm still going to try and make Comp.Edge on the 22nd but won't know until late in the week if i can.

No comp. edge either for me.my other knee(not the one i just had recontructed)swelled up big last night and i can't put any weight on it.I was thinking i could ride with my brace but the ride to Socal would be too long and painful.Looks like this one get total knee replacement soon.Hope you guys have fun and please post how you did.

Competitve Edge / Hesperia for Sunday Nov. 22 - Mid 60's and sunny . The American Retrocross crew went out to the track Thursday to layout a killer track . Year end battles between many racers for the class win are expected .

The Guys at work today were laughing at me today.  A FAT OLD man on a OLD Bike  in a FAT OLD MAN OLD BIKE RACE.  If they only knew.

Had a blast, the track was perfect!!!!  Good to see Lloyd and Fred (?) out there on Pentons too!!!  Lloyd and Fred (?) both won there class.  I came in 2nd, but I guess that doesn't really count cause there was only 2 people in my class and he was on a 400.  Anyways it was alot of fun.  Can't wait for the next one.
