Caswell Tank Sealer and Ethanol

Another Warning on this Caswell tank sealer and ethanol don't mix. I just looked at my Bultaco Alpina tank which had been sealed with Caswell and it is a mess. I did not keep gas in the tank  but made the mistake of putting the gas cap back on the bike. Now the Caswell has combined with the ethanol in the gas and is a gooey mess. Time to toss the tank and fix the spare tank I have.

Race Fuel only guys for bikes with fiberglass tanks. The ethanol screws up your carb parts too.
