Larry,
Just shooting from the hip, but it looks like a 1972 CMF pipe without the shroud on the back.  I have owned one or two of these and they didn't have a shroud on them from the factory)or that is my take).  When I say 1972 I mean that is probably the first one I saw was on an original 1972 with what the owner called a MX pipe.  It certain would fir the CMF 100/125 thru 1975.  I hope this helps and Merry Christmas to you and your Family.

I just wish there was a closeup shot of the flange where it goes into the head.I may be imagining it but it looks different there, almost like an o ring type, but my eyes are all old and i can't tell.I'm probably just seeing things again...

Looks like a 76/77 MC 125 Pipe, check out the front long frame mount.

I agree that the hanger (mount) looks unusually long, but I have a NOS 1976 125 pipe that the hanger that isn't long and I have three other bikes..1975/6 KTM powered 125 that isn't that long and a 1977 Sachs powered 100 Penton/KTM that isn't that long, but the 1977 125 Penton that you built is that long.  So I guess it may be a '77 125?  Can't say for sure, but Kip, Michael Winters or Mike Lenz would know more about these pipes as I just haven't done that much work with the KTM Powered Penton/KTMs.  Tip of the hat to Kip.

Ron,  What exactly is a 1977 Sachs powered 100 Penton/KTM?   I have heard of slipping a Sachs 100 top end on a KTM engine.   I have also heard of slipping a 175 KTM top end on a Sachs engine.   Is this a complete Sachs engine mounted into a 1977 KTM frame?   Is it the MX (MC5) or enduro frame (CC or GS6).   How did they work the rear engine mount around the KTM swingarm?   joe

Is this a Speed Pipe? It looks like it has a broken ear on the frame mount.

I believe this is the pipe on eBay in question. From what I can tell, it is very similar to the MC5 125/175 NOS pipe that I bought from Tom Brosius, with the exception of no silencer made into the stinger end of the pipe. It appears just to not have the outside shroud of the integral silencer like my pipe does.
The mounting bracket near the fuel tank is almost identical. Mike

Joe,
I think we have discussed this bike before on the POG site.  Here is the story in short since I am traveling today.  If you need anymore info just put email address up here and I will send you pictures.  The way the story goes is that in 1977 several countries wanted a 100cc bike for ISDT and since KTM didn't have a 100 engine they build several of these bikes configured with a Sachs engine.  It was set up as a Enduro model with lights, long travel rear shock locations and a earlier 35mm Front end.  I only know of one other complete one in Italy, but I haven't researched for more info in sometime.  It is just in my collection.  Very neat bike.

This is a picture of me on the day I bought my 6-day in 1973 and it had a pipe that looked just like the one you show except it had a little silencer built into the stinger.
