Hi all,

Longtime rider, racer and Tulsa Trail Rider member Vern Street has been hospitalized at St John's Hospital in Tulsa since Dec 21,2009. I'm sure a lot of you have had the pleasure of meeting him over the years at a Black Jack Enduro event, the ISDT RR or elsewhere and know first hand what a great guy he is. Vern has been battling blot clots in his left leg below the knee and has had to undergo a couple of surgeries so far and is scheduled for another surgery tomorrow morning. I visited him in the hospital this afternoon and glad to report that he's in good spirits and hanging tough. It's been a difficult battle for him so far and he still has many tough battles ahead so please keep Vern in your thoughts and prayers. If anyone would like to send him a get well card, please email me and I'll gladly give you his home address rather than post it in an open forum. To email me use my screen name on this site followed by @cox.net . Thanks !!
