here's some pix of one of my winter projects, my  two latest 400's. the two 250's ready for new blaine and a couple of motor recently done. as well as a group shot.
i also replaced the floor and the steel substucture on my hi-point trailer. been a busy winter but it keeps me outta trouble. [8D]

Sure wish I hadnt sold off my vintage bikes.
When we had to  move the shop, I sold my Penton 400 that had only 365 miles on it.  All original. Was stored 20 years.
My Penton 76 250 Harescrambler that was showroom condition
and my 71 Maico 250 that was a complete restore from inside out.

Called my old friend Barry Higgins and told him he could have all 3 bikes... And sold them to him for a song.....(I think Kurt Connelly got the 250)

Now that the new shop is doing well and I got the bug after 15 years of retirement, to ride again I wish I had a Penton 250 again...

I had a ball at the ISDT reunion ride even if it was on a DR400 that was sprung for a 400lb rider..  It took my back 2 weeks to recover.
But it made me want to start looking for a vintage bike again....

I started my career on a 68 penton 125 so I guess its par for course that I want to go back to a penton again...

good to hear from you bob. i spoke to you at the RR ride too. i used to put on another enduro in your neck of the woods, the hill and gully riders summer bummer.  i need to get those ryan brothers out to ride some of the old stuff with us too. i'm always working on new projects, i'll give you a holler when i have another 250 ready. there is one in KY on ebay right now that i rebuilt. its a nice one too.   chi jer

this one is for sale. i had a couple of guys in mind when building it but they have various reasons why the timing is not good for them at the moment.   $3000..   i'll put a note in the for sale/ wated segment.   can deliver to diamond don's or various other events.
