Anyone going to the AHRMA MX National MX at Log Road MX in Michigan this weekend ?

I will be racing my 76 Husky 250cr.
My 74 Penton 250 is not ready yet.

Bob,
I'm pretty much a fixture there since it's the home state.  Although the national races have been keeping us bouncing around different states.  Raced (practiced) last Saturday at the regional there and introduced the Berkshire to the track.  They are a good group that continues to support the sport even with low participation.  The regional races start early in the morning and are now mixed with modern bike support classes.  It gives the modern bike guys the opportunity to run on the vintage track.  After we are done, which is usually well before 11:00 they close off the vintage and it becomes a full modern bike practice day.

Dale,
I was there last Saturday.  Riding the #54 Husky 250 in moto 4.
I saw you ride by on the sweet looking Penton.
Nice looker !

I had a little mishap when the Husky jumped out of gear off a
jump. When I landed with no power, I ended up going over the
bars and the bike landed on my foot.  Nasty sprain.  Black and
blue and swollen all over.

Still plan on being there, but it will be Sunday for Post-Vintage.
The Husky is a couple years too new for the Saturday Vintage race.

Just hope the ankle will be well enough to shift the bike....
