Westpoint ISDT Road Construction Directions

Guys,
This is for everyone planning on attending the ISDT qualifier on Sept 18 &19.There is bridge work going on on state hwy 242 both north and south of Westpoint it is 2 different bridges.

The construction is on 2 bridges north and south of town and they are 1 lane and the lane across the bridge is 9 foot wide.Basically what I am trying to say is a normal size school bus that I was behind yesterday was almost rubbing the bridge and concrete dividers on each side of his bus he had about 2-3 inches.

So if you are comming in a motorhome or wide trailer you will need to make the route I have listed below your route into the campground.

You should go into Loretto Tennessee this is state hwy 43 and take Busby road into Westpoint,the turn will be right beside Lawsons clothing store.Busby road is about 8 miles long off of hwy 43 into Westpoint and then turn left onto state hwy 242 for about 1 1/2 miles and turn onto Georgia Street in Westpoint.This is a normal wide hwy and no problems with big rigs.

There will be arrows off of State hwy 43 all the way to Westpoint.Anyone with any questions please let me know and pass this along to anyone you know is comming.
