Anyone out there in Penton Land need an AHRMA Race/Show Ready 250? This Penton is excellent. It was fully restored in 2008, including powder coated frame, new Metzlers, polished Akronts, etc. I have before and after pictures if interested. After purchasing from the restorer I went completely through the bike to make it race ready. Checked top end and installed new rings although it didn't need them.(engine was rebuilt by an ex-Penton dealer in New England prior to restoration) I installed Works Performance shocks, sealed gas tank (but only used race fuel), double sealed front forks, waterproofed everything and went racing.
This bike won 6 consecutive AHRMA events and took class win at the 2009 AMA National Hare Scrambles at Mid-Ohio. AMA Number One plate holder.

My injuries at Diamond Don's were pretty severe and it's time to retire once again. The bike came through without a scratch but I didn't.
