Bonnieville record set

   Dick Lague and the folks at IGNITION3 have in the past worked with the POG on transferring some of the old ISDT films to a more modern format, they are really a great group of guys.  They also have done a lot of the filming at the current ISDE events and created the DVDs of those events.  Today Dick sent this clip along and I think you folks might enjoy seeing it.  

   The timing of getting this clip from Dick is uncanny as our own Conrad Pfeifer and his cousins are going to try to set a new record at Bonneville in 2011. Anyone who was at the last POG meeting probably saw the Triumph on the back of Conrad's truck, it was delivered to the POG meeting from it's home in Detroit. The Triumph is now in the hands of Crazy Jake Fischer who is going to give it his "special" touch before it hits the flats.

On September 26 2010, Bob Cleveland on his 104+ Octane Boost lawnmower set the world's lawnmower speed On the Bonneville Salt Flats.  


The crew from IGNITION3 was there to record it for posterity.

We covered the original record Bobby set on the 4th of July in 2006 and that YouTube clip has over 725,000 views.
