I have talked Stephanie Thompson into doing a run of Modern Penton racing jerseys if we can get enough interest.  These are like the CZ and Maico ones that she has posted on Mark's Vintage Swapmeet a couple of days ago.  They are very nice and will be 2 colors and screen printed.  They are modern DryMax wicking vented athletic material jerseys so they won't hold sweat and there will be no cold and clammy feel like the soaking wet ones from Metro.  They will have the Penton logo on the front and your name and number on the back.  The sizes available are Adult Medium through 3X.  The prices below are based on the total number we order as a group and pay up front.  I will coordinate the effort and can take Paypal if you need to go that route.  I am getting 2 of them myself.

6-11  $55
12-23 $50
24-48 $45
If you do not want your name and number on the back deduct $5.
Figure $8 for shipping to you.

If you race think about getting two so you don't have to wear a stinky one the second day of racing.  These are a much better way to go and show your Penton colors.  Even if you don't race get one or two as they will be a cool way to stand out and be unique.  If you are interested e-mail me at [email protected]

I'm in on the jersey. Do you know the colors. I will send you an email

Larry Perkins

I was wanting input on colors before we finalize everything but I think perhaps red and blue might be good.  but input is where i want to go as soon as we find out who all are potentially in on the deal.

Harescrambler yellow and MC5 orange.  If orange a lot of modern riders could use them, too.

From a fashion stand point and looking good on the track without clashing with different color pants - White- . And stand out colors done in large logos.

These are of course the classic jerseys.  One of which is three color red-white-blue.

I'd be in for two larges. My old red/white/blue needs to be retired.
Although, Gooddirt makes a good point.

Larry sent you particulars for 2 jerseys I want if you go ahead with the order

Mickey Sergeant

The red white blue would be good colors for me

OUCWBOY

I bought my first Penton in March 1969. At that time there was only one choice, so I am a bit biased... lol.

With that being said, Larry, you are doing all the leg work on this, so what ever you come up with is OUTSTANDING!  I'll take 2 of the fat boy size (2XL). Name (Smith) but no number!

Thanks for all you do and for all your efforts.
