Howdy folks,

I just wanted to let you know that the long range weather forecast for Chester, South Carolina, site of our 3rd Annual Carolinas White Lightning Cross Country Classic, is calling for clear sunny skies and temperature in the low to mid-seventies for next Wednesday through Sunday.

The rain we get Monday and Tuesday, followed by clear sunny days the rest of the week, will make for excellent soil conditions during our race.

I equate the weather and soil conditions over the three year history of our event to The Story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears.  The first year was too cool and way too wet, the second year was too hot and dry, but this, the third year, is going to be JUST RIGHT!

Our event is rounds two and three of the AHRMA / Penton Owners Group National Cross Country Championship series.

I hope you all are making plans to attend.

Happy trails,

Al Roof, Volunteer P/R Guy
