Please join me in thanking Doug Wilford for his past service performing the membership duties.  Doug announced at the June POG meeting his desire to retire from this position as soon as a replacement was found.  After some consideration on my part and discussion with Paul and Al I have accepted that role which became official at the meeting July 7th.  Currently, the present system for renewals and new membership has not changed.  With growth and management in mind, thought is being put into adding the ability to auto-fill a form online and a payment method which would accept a Paypal account or credit card.  A new email address was established today specifically for any questions pertaining to your current membership status, expiration date, etc.  In the days and weeks ahead I will be adding contact information and sending out various notifications.

The new email is:  [email protected]

See you at VMD!

Dale,

Thank you so much for taking on this task for all of us members "out in the field". We really appreciate the work done by all of the Poggers close to the Mother Ship.

And Doug -

Words can't properly express the thanks that we all have for everything that you have done for our sport. In the beginning as a racer, team leader, and innovator - in the middle to help form the POG and get things rolling again, and recently keeping us all organized.

This is not even to mention the countless hours building motors for next to nothing and teaching & teaching those of us who have needed help along the way.

Gentlemen, we do appeciate your work.

Clark

Dale,
Thanks Dale for taking the job and I know you will do a good job just as you do with your Race bikes.

Doug,
Thanks for all your many years of leadership and hard work.  I can remember seeing you race back in the day and you were the best back then and you were also a teacher to those that were listening.  Thanks for all your behind the scene work you have done over the years and continue to do....you taught me a lot about engines, riding and learning how to look at bike preparation in a different way.  In other words to win you have to start and finish!  You are a true Winner and I have enjoyed your Family and your wonderful Wife.  Now lets travel and have some fun.

Today's mail brought 12 renewals and one new membership.  The mail pipeline from Amherst should now be on a regular basis.  I'm pleased to hear that Jim Borer has been cleared to resume driving after having health issues.  Thank you all for your support!
