Oops, careful with this

Just had all my hardware flat cad plated.  It looks great.  Only problem is, the thumb wing nut adjuster must be made of something other than steel, because it just disappeared.  I'm assuming the cleaning acid the parts are subjected to must have dissolved it.  Guess I have to find one of those now.

Posted this so someone else might avoid the same mistake.

Pot Metal, but they will Zinc Plate without problems, just look darker than steel!
