The latest POG newsletter is hot off the press and in the mail.
Since this year's feature bike is the Kenny Roberts/ Penton shorttracker bike, this newsletter was focused on it.

The Member Profile is on Don Galloway, a POG member in Canada, who does vintage dirt track racing and has a couple of KTM powered bikes.

Ted Guthrie "beat the bushes" and came up with the story of how this bike was developed and promoted. He also wrote another article called "The Redline Connection".

The Tech Tips article is focused on the Penton Short Tracker Components.

All that you need to know about this short lived, limited production bike is covered in this latest issue.

Also, a tribute to the late Dane Leimbach in this issue.

If you do not receive a copy of this newsletter, you are not a current paid up member. You will need to print out an application form and mail it in with some dues money.

What a great issue!  If you are not a current member you are missing out on some great reading put together by some very hard working and dedicated people.  I have received two inactive renewals since the mailing and will send them the current issues soon.  Is a family member having difficulty finding you a present for Christmas?  Possibly suggest a $20. Penton Owners Group membership (or renewal), support our 2012 efforts, and enjoy the newsletters for a whole year....:)
