BING 54 SLIDES

I have 2 new Bing Slides 220 and 230 the difference I see is in the cutaway in the back of the slides whats the difference in performace. low end, midrange,top end, I have heard by removing material from cutaway will give better bottom end,will it affect midrange and top end power......:)
