A name from the past - Jim Cagle

I had an interesting visitor this weekend in town for the Holley NHRA Hot Rod Reunion that some of you may know from the past, Jim Cagle.

Apparently Jim was responsible for the AMA amateur racing series and the Six Days team during sometime in the early 70's. Jim was very interesting to talk to and I encouraged him to come to Mid Ohio to see all his buddies from the past. I filled him in about the Penton club and showed him some Penton newsletters. He instantly recognized most of the key members. Hopefully he will contact some of you he knew from the past.

Jim has a beautiful vintage drag car he shows and I met him thru a mutual friend, Tom Long, who was an Ossa sales rep in the 70's.
