I thought that an interested party was serious about purchasing my Kenny Roberts Penton, but it may be they are having second thoughts and just can't take the time to communicate that, but I can't wait on them any longer, so I am offering it up for sale for $4200 or best offer, without rear shocks, as the shafts pitted, and I sold them. As many of you know this is #09 out of a possible production of 50 or less only produced in 1977, the last year for Penton Sportscycles/ Delivery available for gas expenses within a 500 mile radius of Newton IL. zip[ 62448 Sold and heading East shortly! Mike,
I have always wanted one of those and would love to have it, but my money tree didn't bloom much this year.
I sit and drool but maybe you can find a happy home for her!
If not and you still have her in March, then let me know.

Donny,
You could always make payments!
Or take partial trade on a nice MC5 250/400!
Sorry Dan, I have a street/trail DR650 that I really enjoy, I am not a fan of the heavy cruiser bikes, I want something I can off road at a moments notice when cut off by Sunday drivers...

Trade ya an '86 Honda Goldwing Aspencade, less than 60,000 miles on it. new head gaskets 2 years ago, new stator last year. Get on and ride unit. Will need tires for next year.

Hello from that interested party, Mike.  It's beautiful, it's available and...it's not my time yet ($$).  I sure wish I was in a position to take this off your hands, but I truly did not appreciate the rarity and value of these sleds.  I don't think you are going to have a problem finding a new home for this work of art.

Since it is my (bucket list) desire to actually go short-tracking, a wise old man  - or something like that - has counseled me to load up my TTR125 and go to my local races and give it a go. So I may be heading to Belden Hills in mid-September to give it a go and see if I have the right stuff.  Wait...left stuff.  Turn left.  Turn left.  Turn left...

Bob, let me know what day you're heading down to Beldon Hills and I'll be there to watch.

Bob,

Don't forget to move the shifter to the right side and get the holeshot.  Both very important if you want to win.

I wish the later was true, but no one has even made an offer so far, outside of Dan's offer to trade for an Aspencade. Oh Well, hard times for all I guess...
I forgot to mention that it comes with the original pipe, which I had Bob Wardlow remove some dents in the lower portion in addition to the Circle F reproduction that is installed in the pic. and a nice 325/350-19 Carlisle front tire that is more correct than the 2.75/7.00-19 Goodyear on the bike that looks waaaay too wide. @ Tony and Dan - I was starting to get excited about a Sept 14 race at Belden Hill (Square Deal Riders) and had already gotten a nice email from Mike Williams, the SDR VP.  Then I realized the 14th is my fly back day from a business trip.  So....I may be looking for an INDOOR race series this winter. Where do I go, Tony?  :)

The "STOCK 150 air cooled" class sounds like alot of fun BTW.  Mount some dirt-track style tires, maybe a pipe and jetting changes and I think you are ready to go.  As for moving the shifter to the right side on a TTR...

Bob,

The Baltimore County Trailriders Assoc. runs an Indoor Short Track series @ MD State Fairgrounds Timonium, MD.  The dates are Dec. 14 and Dec. 21.

We (BCTRA) have been running this series since 1973.  Come on down.
