Where is a good place to get the old fashioned MX stand for down pipe type bikes.  The type with a long handle on it.  Thanks

Hi Kip,
You might want to take a look at this one and contact the seller to see if he offers the stand you are looking for.

Thanks dave, will check it out.  Hard to find something that is worthy of displaying a nice restoration.  May just have to make my own?

Kip,
Just fell onto this. I found it on the AHRMA web mart.

Tried that place before with no luck?? Nice stands though

Nice, it would be for my CZ also.  The same stand is $50 at AMS racing.  Thanks!

Kip.... that gold color has to be worth at least the $40, thanks for the link to ams i always forget to check for parts there as the few times I have they have been out of stock of the parts I needed

Kelly Owen makes one of the nicest stands for restos I just found.  Will be seeing his collection in a few weeks after visiting Bertus.  UNI Filter tour also if I can work it in.

Kip what cz do you have, I have a original 73 selling on ebay right now and built this one from the ground up as my vintage race bike (literally had weeds in parts of the frame)

I have a 1971 CZ 250, 980 series, (Taxi Cab) Almost finished in a few weeks, turning out gorgeous. Going to bertus in a few weeks to get some bits and visit. Also just finishing the last Penton (1977 GS 175) It is killer also, has a centerstand on it with all NOS sidepanels and headlight shell.;)  Your bike is awesome!
