Great Show, enjoy watching it.

Seasons Greetings!
Saw the episode last night in the Chicago area. Jack test rides what used to be a KTM 640 that has been "modified" into a " cafe racer". The rear brakes stick and Jack lays it down on a gravel road. Looked rather painful. There was also a short clip of Jack riding in an enduro event. Mike and Karen Schulz
PS Great job as usual on the newsletter this month. We recieved ours yesterday and it is always a joy to recieve and read!

Painful to watch. Some yayhoo took a nice good shape LC4 640 and stipped it down to morph it into a rough-looking hard tail Mad Max cycle. Jack P called it right...What the heck is it? Not to mention poorly put together and unsafe to ride. Mike Lafferty passed taking a spin while Jack was left with a bad limp.

If they wanted to film a KTM conversion and pull Jack and Mike L into it, they could have at least got a skilled builder to do a clean and worthy job.

I saw an episode the other night in which they made a Café Racer out of a sweet Rokon 340. They turned top end around backwards so the carb was on the front and the exhaust ran out of the back. Stripped it all down, rear sets, fairing....pretty crazy but the test rider loved the it.
