Good day...could someone please provide me this info:

> What is the capacity of the 125 Sachs A trans/primary?

> In addition to the case drain plug, there also is a clutch cover screw (located near the lh footpeg mount) that leaks if a fibre washer is not used behind the screw. Does that cover screw need to be pulled (in addition to the center drain bolt) to fully drain the oil?

Thanks for any advice...

700cc and I use (and have used for 40 years ATF.  I wouldn't use the bottom drain plug as over the years the aluminum (case) and the plug (steel) becomes one piece and you pull the threads with the plug.  Just a word to the wise use the side plug in the cover or do what I do and I just pull the side cover and do a good drain and cleaning.

I also use ATF type F in all two strokes of all years, not just the Sachs.

Thanks for the info and advice...

BTW...I also have used Type F ATF in 2 stroke trans/clutch cases for...let's see...since the early 70's.
My 1974 Husky 125 WR has over 10,000 hard miles on it.
Rebuilt crank and mains, now out to .060 bore...but still on the original trans, and clutch plates.
