Folks,

I tried a POG search for the instructions someone put up to load photos on the POG site through photobucket.  Does anyone know what msg, name of topic, reference, etc. of a past msg so I can follow the directions to load photos accompanying a subject article on the POG site??

Please let me know.  I put a hole in my piston and want to show it for diagnosis reference.  Thanks everyone.

Go to the photo you want to post.  On the right of the page you will see codes.  Clink on IMG and it should say copy - then paste it to the POG page.  Unfortunately unless you remove part of the top and bottom of the code it will show way to the right.  Delete the line beginning with and the extra at the end to have them show properly.  Or email them for remote assistance ;)

A  melted hole in the top of the piston is caused by too lean carburetion and/or timing incorrect.

Dale,

thanks for the advise.  I'll give it a try.

Dont use the IMG link on the bottom, use the second link labeled "Direct" and put it between img /img tags instead of URL tags, it will display perfectly.

Both will get you the same results.  Copying the IMG you just eliminate part of the coding to display properly.  Using DIRECT you need to add IMG in brackets before and after the copied file.

IMG - Delete the first line [URL******copied file******.jpg.html] and the last part in brackets [URL]

Direct - Add the following before and after the copied file [ IMG ] with no spaces.  (Sorry wouldn't display without the added space before and after IMG)

[ IMG ]******Copied file******[ IMG ]  (again, no spaces before or after the IMG)

Make sure you put the back slash [/img] on the end of the link.

and, for dummies, step by step (cause it took me a while to figure out the above):

1. get a photobucket account;
2. upload your photos;
3. bring up your photos
4. on RHS click on "Direct"
5. open a new message in whatever forum (POG etc.) you intend to use;
6. in that new message box, right click on "paste";
7. edit the link: add:
8. have a look at preview to confirm you got what you want;
9. back to photobucket, repeat the process.

Hope this helps,
Mike

7. should read: edit - as per Brian Kirby's instructions above.
(When I put in square brackets with IMG, it produces that little symbol)
