Tank Restoration

Starting a restoration on a 1973 Six Days 125. Tank is in pretty good condition. Just bought stickers from Alan Buehner. My question is what cleaner/ polisher have members used on the tank with success? Have you sealed the inside of the tank?   Thanks

Don't seal it, keep the gas drained when not in use.  I use Meguiars plastic cleaner first then their plastic polish. Never saw a sealed tank that didn't chip or bubble when used with modern fuel
