I am sharing a post from Tom White on the passing of Kelly Owen.

Facebook Friends and friends of Kelly Owen, It breaks my heart to share the sad news that we lost a magnificent man, motorcyclist, husband, friend, entrepreneur, and my personal hero today from the result of a stroke today. I'm not quite sure how to move forward without having him push/nudge/support me as a collector and my main golf coach for the last many years. Please keep his bride of almost 40 years - Senene, his daughter Ashley, and his son Brad/wife Stefani and the extend family and his team at Clarion Construction in your thoughts and prayers. RIP buddy! tw

Wow, never expected this news.  Was out to see Kelly a few years ago to enjoy his collection and what a wonderful friend and person.  Man, I am going to miss him, will keep his family in our prayers. Sad news for sure:(

He was a wonderful, kind man who would help anyone who needed it. I did not know him as well as some but he was always very kind to me and took the time to talk with me and "catch up" whenever we would meet.....I will miss him very much, as will many others. He was a class act always.

I've said it before, but bears repeating - an incredible collection of motorcycles.  Just stunning.  Click on the link that Dale posted.

And as Mr. White alludes to, he inspired others to collect also.  Very moving "eulogy" to Mr. Owens by TW.  I hope I remember to thank Tom if he makes it to VMD this year.  He too is just an incredibly nice guy.

Wow! Sad news. Sorry to hear of Kelly's passing. Had good memories from the early '90s, as we both raced CZ 400s in the Open Expert class at some of the AHRMA National events in California and had a few good battles. A good guy, indeed.
