Might help if we knew the area it was stolen from and a frame number?  Thanks and I will be on the look out here is Texas.  Any other special items on the bike that the thief may try to sell would be useful.

From Pat:

Good news.... and bad news.

They found the berkshire.... but I just now found out that they also got two more of my vintage bikes and those two have not yet been found. They found the berkshire in a sleeze motel room... not sure if they have the guy but it looks like the room was being used as a storage room for stolen stuff.

So, they grabbed three of my vintage bikes, one has been recovered, two more are still missing. One is a blue 175 alpine, the other is a pristine fully restored 250. That 250 was the first year they replaced the Penton decals with KTM decals - a sweetheart of a bike in absolutely perfect as-new condition, close to $5,000 invested in that one bike alone.

Pics and info on the other two later today.

This makes me sick... I did the restoration on the 1975 KTM that was stolen from Pat. I for one will be scouring Ebay and Craigslist looking for anyone parting it out our trying to sell whole. Keep a close eye out for any exhaust systems for sale for this model/year KTM. I didn't have the correct muffler so we welded on a "SuperTrapp" like end cap that still "looked" the part.

Please email me at [email protected] if you need a picture for reference of the bike that was stolen from Pat. I may have a picture of the 175 as well. When I sold the bike to Pat, I also picked up the 175 Jackpiner for him and delivered to a friend of his who brought them over to TX for him.  Really sick about this and would like to try to help get the word out. Thank you!

By the way, the frame number on the 250 is
