Before the 8/4 POG meeting I sent return postage and two gas tanks (one restored, one original) to Al and asked if he wouldn't mind taking them to the meeting for Mr. John and Mr. Jack to autograph.

Imagine my surprise when the box arrived back here in Atlanta with the signatures of the Pentons and others on the tanks.

Were I computer literate, I'd post pictures.

Yes, and then realized it was more bike than I am man. Kept it "in the family" and sold it to a friend. I'm working on a 125 and a 175, both are more my speed/size/weight.

Have you ridden yours recently?

Yes , runs like a champ . Just put some new Oury's on it and removed and cleaned up Corte Cosso on rear . To my sursprise they are working great. I also got nice set of Marzocchi's for the rear also . I can't believe that bike still has orginal Metzler on front, (dry rot). I wished I had went and got that bike in NC but to far without someone eyes on it for me . Good luck with your endeavor!
