I am in a position to see this bike. Have had one contact via email.  What questions should I ask? Only one picture, he is advertising way outside of his local Craigslist. Don't know what fair price should be or what parts are not available if needed.  Thanks for input.  Probably a wild goose chase.

Bike looks like a 1970 to me. Would know for sure if he could provide the frame number. A photo of the other side with the pipe would be helpful. Seems like he is on the high end price wise.

The Steel Tanker is sold. My friend Larry owned it and sold it to a guy from Seattle, I believe. Got it for free basically and got it running, sold it for $2400 a few weeks later! He's the King of bike Flippers! It wasn't all that nice but it was all there and ran well.
