handlebars

Can anyone suggest a source for a set of stock handlebars for a '74 250? They don't have to be OEM/NOS - just the same dimensions. Thanks.

My original 72 Penton brochure says 34" for both the 125 and 175.

Everyone cut them down to 32" or less.

i use to cut mine back to 30, it really changes the way the bike feels. That was on a 125 six-days. it might be a good idea to take off just an inch at a time till your happy with them. i think a 400 with 28 inch bars would feel like i was trying  to turn a battle ship . Make for very strong sholders and arms though , chuckle chuckle.

I bought a set off of e-bay that has the correct looking knurling in the center according to the pictures I have seen,but they are only 27 inches wide. I think I'll try them and if they are to narrow I'll have them tigged up and replated. Dennis

I have the original bars that were on the 175, my tape measure agrees with Bob they are 34 inches.
