Gary Ellis or Chicago Jerry should be able to help you on that.  Euro dirt bikes are definitely complicated.  If they do not see this email me and I can get you contact info or both are on Facebook.  [email protected]

when you say it doesn't change gears, more info is needed. is the motor back in the bike? is the clutch cover off? does the trans move at all? i suspect though that the shifting drum detent lever got caught under the drum upon putting the cases back together. feel frre to email me at [email protected]   chi jer

Thanks for the input CJ.  Turns out the new drum had too many shims (6) on the end, so, when I tightened the cases, it was pinching the drum so it wouldn't turn.  I removed five of the shims, and it shifts fine...

A big shout out to Kevin Donovan for helping resolve the issue. And also to CJ for your input, and Larry for recommending a couple of names. Well appreciated!

Glad it is mobile again! I am reminded of the founder of McDonald's saying, "No one of us is as smart as all of us."
