Bike / race history 1974 250

I'm new to the forum and to Penton KTM bikes. I just bout a 1974 Penton from the old man down the street in Long Beach,CA . It was set up to desert racing and came with a box of the take off street Legal parts. I'm trying to track down anyone who may have know the bike or the what I was told the old owners race history. I was told the original owners names were Gary Thomas and the last owner going back to at least the late 80's was Paul Rizzo. Bike has a CHP tag dated 92 and a CA plate last registered in 85.

I'm really excited about this bike and got it to fire up after sitting since around 1992.

Any help would be great.
