Wanted steel tanker swing arm bushings

Chris,

I hope that you're doing well. For the good of the group, would you please let us know how you made them? I have a steel tanker that is probably going to need a set of swing arm bushings. I, for one, would love to know how you made them.

Saw them. For $120.00 !!! The guy does not respond to messages or offers. Doubt very much they even exist. The original bushings are a weak link in the design of this bike.

So, to make sure I understand, the originals are really bushings, and you just replaced them with bearings stacked up that fit the OD of the swing arm, and added a bushing through the inner race to take the pivot bolt? If I understand that correctly, that should be almost bullet proof, and really a great idea.

Good job Chris! You now have a much better set up . Than the original bushings . You made it better. :)
