best ignition for HS 250 racer

a quick question. what's the consensus of racers on which ignition (no, not motoplats's)pvl, vape etc. i've personally had good luck with my  weighted pvl. a good friend who's  pretty fast is building a racer, no lights needed. i'm looking for the best recommendation. what say you, gary ellis?
