looking for a copy of July 1976 DIRT BIKE magazine

Hello Fellow POGers,
From our home page if click on info then publications there is a list of magazine article for pentons.
This seems to be just that a list. Is there a way to see articles from that list? in particular the list has dirt bike July 1976 listed. I'm looking for the "TECH article in that month's issue.

Can anyone tell me who owns/keeps those magazines and how I can get a pdf of the article?

Additionally just an FYI in an effort to try and find this issue of dirt bike I stumbled upon a web site "archives.org" that has a lot of old motorcycle magazines downloaded it had most of the 1976 dirt bike issues where listed but as is my luck july was missing.

  I'll have to look in the morning but I'm not sure if I have it or not. I don't have many old motorcycle mags. I have sent old  articles from old model airplane magazines to people by just taking a careful picture with my cell phone, then use the editing feature in the phone to crop it close to the page size. Then I can email it or text it. people sell old magazine on eBay. Set up a search alert for that issue to get email notices if some one lists one for sale/auction.

Hi John,

I am not aware of anyone having all of the magazines. It is just a list of known articles. There are no scans. It has not been discussed in detail, but I would imagine that posting scans of those articles would create copyright issues for POG. Especially since Dirt Bike is still in print. Good luck with your search!

Hi all,
I have about 50 Dirt Bike magazines in the '73-'75 era, and some odd MX Action/ Cycleworld magazines. Probably time to sell the lot—-no real interest in digging through for single issues. Probably ok with like $6/issue.

If anyone's seriously interested in the whole batch, I'll dig through all to inventory more closely and communicate directly. Less work, less hassle = better deal. Text or call please offline at 503-888-2851.
